Many of you already know of a tradition of 'Ringing The Bells' The Casswells of Trowbridge, Wiltshire have had the local church bells rung for a new born Casswell in the NEW WORLD since the 1850s. I managed to persuade the bellringers of St James church in Trowbridge Wilts to ring to bells (after 150 years) for a new born Casswell in New York, USA. Can you imagine, just for one minute, that every time a descendant of an English family was born in the New World, the bells of the local church were rung in England! We, the people on the Internet, can arrange these things! The World gets smaller! I hope to place the 'bell ringing' wav file for Christofer James Casswell on the moonrakers page in the near future.
