    3. Its a long time ago since I received this information. But, on looking at it, there is something suspicious about it being in my tree. I don't have any birth dates for this man. Perhaps someone out west researching their line added the data, but omitted to say it was a 'tenuous link. If you can provide me with more information on him, I'll be glad to relinquish him to your Lincolnshire line. :-) Don't suppose you have a gedcom file on them do you? ----- Original Message ----- From: "david_meredith" <[email protected]> To: "Mike Caswell" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2000 12:14 PM Subject: [LIN] William Martin CASSWELL / Maud BLASSON > Mike > > Last Friday I was in Lincolnshire and on my way home called in to see Betty > Harris in Boston. > > Whilst there she showed me a copy of your 'How Richard Henry Gunstone Gibbs > Slade Casswell Got His Name' which I believe you published in 1997. > > Betty then indicated to me the details you have for 'William Martin > Casswell', on page 55, together with his place on the 'Descendants of > Richard Casswell' pedigree, towards the back of the publication. > > If I am correct in thinking that the Richard Casswell pedigree referred to > above, is part and parcel of your Wiltshire Casswells, are you aware of the > Lincolnshire William Martin Casswell and Maud Blasson? > > If not, I can provide his Lincolnshire antecedents together with some for > his family. > > Clearly something is adrift here as surely there can't have been two sets of > 'WM Casswell & M Blasson's'. > > By the way, I believe it is this couple that confused Betty Harris in terms > of a 'Wiltshire/Lincolnshire' Casswell connection. > > Regards > > David > >

    3. I think that the answer to this is that if you want to participate in these files, you have to get 'permission' from me. Just email me and let me know which Caswell files you need access to and I'll log you on. You'll need your own password because you may need to access different files to SIlas & Donnora. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Silas and Donnora Caswell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 29, 2000 11:32 AM Subject: [CASWELL list] This is what we have from Mike about the Caswell page > Dear Caswell, > > Mike Caswell has invited you to a new CASWELLs of WILTSHIRE website, a free > website at MyFamily.com, and would like you to participate! > > Come share news, photos, calendar events, family history and more with other > members of this site in a private, password-protected environment.
