I believe Melvin Roy was a son of George CASWELL and Marjorie MANEELY, of Bruce Co Ontario. They separated, with the older children staying in Canada with their father, and the younger ones going to CA with their mother. Beulah Caswell [email protected]

    3. Joe When you find your gt grandfather's name, I'll easily be able to hook you into a huge Caswell tree from Canada. There is a book printed by Shirley Mayse called "Our Caswell Relatives" I have this entire book on a CD. I am currently trying to link these Irish/Canadian Caswells to my own Wiltshire line! I've copied the Caswell listserver with this and your letter - you have a lot of cousins on it! ----- Original Message ----- From: Joe Caswell To: Mike Caswell Sent: Thursday, December 21, 2000 1:49 PM Subject: Re: EBAY plating manual 522860086 Well, I called this morning and gave my VISA info. Apparently you weren't there. I don't know a lot about which line, but what I do know will probably help you narrow it down significantly. My grandfather, Roy Caswell came down from Canada in the 30s or so and settled in Southern California. He later moved to Reading, California because the LA area was no place to raise a family. He had seven or eight kids. Actually, he died recently at nearly 100. The only thing that throws a wrench into knowing which line I'm from is that I think my great grandfather (I don't recall his name now, but can find out next week) might hava already been an American. As a result I'm not sure Roy Caswell was the first to the U.S. from this particular branch. There seems to be some lore among relatives about Ireland. Thanks for the interest. If there's anything you can ascertain from this scant info, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Joe Mike Caswell wrote: Yes, we can! I'm interested to know which line of Caswells you come from.
