    3. Hi Norman! What's your 3x great grandmother's first name? Maybe she belongs to me too! I only have a few names and connections. Mine are in Massachusetts. I can understand your feelings about researching. My experience in researching has been very diverse. Sometimes people either flock to help you (my Bruce family), or with another line all you get is "buy this" or "subscribe to this." I've got one name I'm researching that I 've found an entire "club" online but I can't seem to breach the walls. Members only, thank you very much. Sometimes you only have one name, like my 2xgreat grandfather Samuel White, and you can't find ANYBODY. But for the most part, I've had a really great experience. So if you ever need help, or support, my email box is always open. And thanks to Nancy's suggestion, if we all post our lines, maybe you will find who you are looking for! Good Luck, Judy

    3. Sandy --- I don't believe it has been proven nor has evidence been found that immigrant and early-Taunton settler Thomas Caswell married Mary Sanderson. I, too, have seen this marriage posted elsewhere. From what I've been able to ascertain, the "Bobbit Genealogy" reported, without supporting documentation, that immigrant Thomas Caswell m. Mary Sanderson, daughter of silversmith John Sanderson of Boston. The only Caswell - Sanderson connection of approximately this time period of which I am aware resulted when Thomas2 (Thomas1) Caswell m. Mary2 Jones, daughter of Thomas1 and Lydia (Sanderson) Jones of Boston then Taunton. Lydia2 Sanderson was the daughter of Boston silversmith Robert1 and Lydia (???) Sanderson. Robert1 Sanderson (d. I should have responded to someone and did not and now I forgot who it was looking for a Celie Caswell. That spelling may not be correct. She is listed in the Florida census in the 1800's as living with someone else. They were in Walton County at or near Freeport. Hope this helps someone. Hattie Caswell

Go to www.caswell.itgo.com then click on the Caswell Family Tree link on the left side of the page. You don't have to have your own website to be able to look at other sites.     3. So it looks to me as I can not look over any of the Caswell info to try to find my Gt.GT.GT.Grandmother's family. I do not have a Caswell family website only ONE Caswell lady!! This is not the first time that I have felt this way. Every time I look at a Caswell web site they want me to join or just say sorry no listing.They will not let me look for myself! On the Caswell Forum there never seems to any people come back with info for everyone to see,seems as they do it by e-mail. I do not remember ever having this feeling when looking into other lines.
