    3. Hi everyone! As I wrote earlier, I would be thrilled to put together the Taunton line of Caswell's. This has always been a pet project of mine. I am a stickler for details and will do the best I can. I have decided that I will start going to Taunton, Middleboro, Lakeville and the area to extract records. I would like get copies of wills, land deeds, etc. and take pictures of gravestones, houses, whatever will help. Until the weather turns too wintery, I would like to head over there at least once a week to once every other week as long as my health holds out (I have chronic fatigue syndrome and it is very unpredictable). If you have a special look up you would like me to do, please e-mail me. I will do as much as I can. (Taunton is 3 hours away). The only thing I ask is a $5.00 donation per request to help cover my gas and some substanance! I hate to even ask that, but I financially can't handle this by myself. I will go to any of the cemeteries, town halls, churches, etc. that I need to, to get this line straightened out. You would also have to pay for your own birth, death, etc certificates. I really wish I could do this all for free. I am willing to donate my time, but being on a fixed income, that's about all I can do. I think the final product will be worth it to all of us. Be sure that when you e-mail, or snail-mail a request to me, you include as much about the person you are looking for as possible. With so many of them with the same names, it will save time and confusion. And again, be sure to check out my direct line on my webpage: http://members.tripod.com/~cazzy62 Nancy p.s. I am looking forward to a lot of feedback on this.

    3. Hi! The "THOMAS CASWELL OF TAUNTON AND HIS DESCENDANTS" is in several volumes of the Mayflower Descendant, including volumes 35,36,37, 40 and 42. Anyone researching these lines should investigate these thorough genealogies presented there. I am willing to do lookups as time permits, please limit requests to two names per query. Please give vitals known to you also. Terry at dkniess@email.msn.com

    3. Yes, there seems to be some conflicting info on this line. I am not personally following it, but someone should take on the job of trying to get all these new branches correctly linked into the tree. May I suggest that we place the best version of the TAUNTON Ma Caswell line on the webpage as a searchable database. If anyone out there has, what they think is the most updated file (gedcom), please let me know and we'll get it organized. I think that once we can get these TAUNTON lines connected we'll all be happier! :-) -----Original Message----- From: dkniess <DKNIESS@email.msn.com> To: SMTP:mike@caswellplating.com <SMTP:mike@caswellplating.com> Date: Friday, September 25, 1998 9:33 PM Subject: Caswell >Hi Mike! 3. This is for Terry. The Charity Caswell married to John Staples, was the daughter of Elkanah Caswell (b & d in Taunton) and his wife Abigail Haskins. Charity most likely was born in Taunton, though I don't have her exact birth date. Nancy
