    3. Hi, I just looked up your LaViers (Laviers) name in Ancestry.com and found in the PERiodical Source Index a diary. It says "Civil war/Thomas and James Laviers diary, 1863." It does say Kentucky. If this is of interest I can send you the places where you can look it up. Also, the Vanguard ship is not posted on Immigrant Ships Transcribers List yet. Do you know the exact date of Barbara and children's arrival? I can look for that one.
