Hello all, I'm new to this list and have identified that some of my relatives arrived circa 1883 in New York City. Family lore is that they can via Ellis Island but as I've done research this is obviuosly untrue. I expect they would have come through Castle Garden instead. Can so one tell me what kind of inforamtion might be available in relation to those coming via Castle Gardens. I already had my ggarndfathers naturalization documents and although they should have told me when and where he entered the country records at that time were not well kept. As a result no information in respect to the date, ship or other information.
