    3. Thank you Sandra in Oregon for the list of German Morels ariving in NY in 1883. Didn't find mine there. Where does this information come from? I am new at Castle Garden. My Jean Morel was origianlly was Alsace Lorraine which went back and forth from French to German hands, but he went to Barcelona and married there and then came to America. I haven't found him in Germans to America, either. He left France in 1870 to avoid becoming German so I would say he considered himself French. It's the same story for Urban Thebes who married Jean's wife's sister and came 1 Sept 1890 to NY . How can I access Castle Garden records? any advice apprecitated. sandy sjlevine47@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 3. I purchased 2 Germans to America CDs thru the following web site: http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/index.html These other sites are what I use for researching ships lists (If you try the "cimorelli" one and choose Magellan, you will find an excellent site). http://home.pacbell.net/spmorse/ellis/ellis.html http://www.cimorelli.com/safe/shipmenu.htm http://distantcousin.com/Links/ships/ http://istg.rootsweb.com/ http://www.theshipslist.com/index.html Sandra in Oregon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra Levine" <sjlevine47@yahoo.com> To: <CASTLE-GARDEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, June 07, 2002 11:22 AM Subject: [CASTLE-GARDEN] Morel > Thank you Sandra in Oregon for the list of German > Morels ariving in NY in 1883.
