This is my second attempt to post this message. Please don't mind if you have seen it before, but it never came to my own mailbox through the list so I thought I should give it another shot. Looking for info on my great grandfather John Hallstein's immigration to US from Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany He was born about 1864, said to have come to US through Castle Garden about 1868. Father's name was John or Leonard, mother was Anna, brother was Leonard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
