Hi Sanda, Could you please look up a Schumacher family for me, please? My great-great-great-grandfather was Ludwig Schumacher, and according to the family Bible, he wrote that they immigrated to the U.S. in 1880, and he also wrote "arrived in Chicago on June 24, 1880." He would have come with his wife, Auguste/Augusta, and I don't know if ALL of their kids came at once, with them, but if they did, they were: Anna (b. Dec. 1864), Minna (b. Nov. 1867), Carl/Charles H. (b. Oct. 1871), Wilhelm/William F. (b.Apr. 1874), Albert B. (b. May 1876), and Richart/Richard J. (Sept. 1877). Also, Ludwig's brother, Wilhelm/William may have come with them, as he too arrived in 1880. To give you an idea of ages, Ludwig was born May 15, 1843, and his brother Wilhelm/William was born May 14, 1846. I don't know what all your disk lists, but Ludwig was a carpenter and Wilhelm/William was a shoe maker. Thank you! :-) Kelly in Michigan
