Hi Sandra, I'm imposing on you again for another lookup. Since I received the information about THOMAS CANAN from you, I have three new censuses and different dates (he gets younger as the years passed). The new immigration years are 1870, 1880, and 1882. You had previously searched your1850-1874 CD (he wasn't there) and Ancestry. I tried all the on-line searches and found one in 1846-1851 passenger lists. Too early. I tried name variations, and one showed a THOMAS KINAN in the 1880's. Believe it or not, this is the name-pronunciation. You have helped me so much with your past lookup, I would appreciate any aid you can provide. Thank you.
Hello Joan, I ran through both of the Germans to America CDs and found no KINANs at all. There was only the original 1852 CANANs (C. and Sophia) on the first disk. Perhaps someone has a disk containing passenger information for Irish to America Immigrants. Sorry I couldn't be of help.
