    2. Sandra- regarding Sagmeister. Thanks for the lookup! Did Georg come alone? Also, does anyone know an approximate meaning to the name Sagmeister? Does meister mean master? Is a "brewer" specifically a beer maker ?

    1. [CASTLE-GARDEN] Castle Garden Look-up
    2. Karen Mayo
    3. Perhaps you may be willing to look for the following arrivals during 1880-1884 at Castle Rock. OLE BENARD BOGERSEN; dob. 1861. He may have with him his wife (if married in Norway) ELISE, dob. abt 1847 and her daughter MARTHA. 1900 federal census shows him coming in 1884, however, other records seem to point to earlier years of 1881, 82, or 83. Abephew, MARTIN BORGERSEN, may have travelled with him also, or aat a different date within the same time period. What disks do you own? May I ask where I might purchase these? Thankks alot. Karen

    1. [CASTLE-GARDEN] Lookup Assistance - Wilhelm E.F.Heller
    2. marcha
    3. Hello list memebers! I have been told wonderful stories handed down from generation to gerneration. One such story claims, Wilhelm E.F.Heller immigrated to the U.S. in August, 1851. I have searched all the Germans to America books, no Wilhelm E.F. Heller. Any help, assistance in locating the actual date and what family members accompanied Wilhelm E.F.Heller is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Marcha

    2. Hi Sandra, Thank you for your time in looking for my DIETRICH and KIES families. I guess I'll just have to keep banging my head on the brick wall. The Clara Dietrich you listed couldn't have been my grandmother - because she had children born in 1882 in NYC. Somewhere - there is a record of my grandparents arrival here, or else they flew over :>) Ruth
