My ancestor, John Levi Castle (Cassel), was born in South Carolina (info from census), migrated to Wilcox County, Alabama with Charity Swain and her brothers, James and William, from Brunswick County, North Carolina, and then Rusk County, Texas and settled in Wood County, Texas about 1845. I am attempting to determine if we are related to the Pennsylvania Castles or the English ones. Would anyone have additional DNA information?
