My grandfather's name was James Castle and he went by Jim. He served in World War 2 in the Navy. He spent time in Japan during the war also. I'm unsure about the troop number and division he was in but I'm going to call my mother and see if she can find all the information she has on him. I know this may be a random fluke that my grandad had the same name as the guy you are looking for, but then again it may not. I just became very intrigued by your post and felt the need to see if your email still worked from your post in 2004.
