PERRY. William and his family were based in Caroline, Tioga (later, Tompkins), New York. Caroline is just north of Candor. William was a War of 1812 veteran and with Mary/Polly, had several children from 1817 to 1831. Not sure of her own birth or death dates, or heritage.
