But how do you discount the fact that Jacob and Sowegee met in what is now western Pennsylvania. Definitely no Cherokee lived in that area with the Shawnee. These two tribes were not very friendly with each other. As for your feelings of not being very "Shawnee", that is okay, but I feel quite differently about that.
