William Joseph was the son of Zedekiah Alan castle and Julia Ann Penix. [Zedekiah and Julia are my 4th great grandparents] Zedekiah was the son of Jacob Castle, Jr & Mary [DuShane} Shane. Jacob, Jr was the son of Jacob, Sr. and Sowegee, Gliding Swan. Sowegee's Christian name was Mary Elizabeth. Sowegee was a member of the Kispoko Sept, Shawnee Indian tribe from western Pennsylvania.
