His father was William Roe Hughes who was born in 1831 and his mother was Ann Penelope Green Hughes who lived in 1838 and died sometime before 1900. I am trying to find out if he was married to a Mattie Shinn for a short time between 1890 and 1894. Supposedly they had a son named Henry Grady Hughes who was born in October 1894. He then went to texas and married Lena Gertrude Hughes and they settled in Garvin Oklahoma. If you can help me in any way I would appreciate it.
