If you go into Google-Books you will find that many books are there in "full view" But check full view only. You can download them and go through them at your leisure. Many historic books are there such as History of Waterbury, Connecticut. Many of the colleges are participating in this wonderful project. I downloaded over 10 books so far. Thanks for posting the link to the Castle book; I didn't realize it was there. It is a shame that Ingraham didn't go into the other branches of the Castle family that was in Vermont at the beginning of the Rev. War through about 1850 when many of them went west. There were many in Bennington, Castleton, and Brandon not mentioned in his book. But that's genealogy, Ingraham chose to stay with one branch of the family and it has helped others to lead to other branches of the family. We come from the line that went to CT, then Vt and on to Mi in the 1850's. We still live here in the same area, there were a couple other brothers of my ggg grandfather that came to Mi, before and lived on the west side of the state. we live in the thumb. At familysearch.org...you can view the book on the Castle Family. I am working on the Castle family also for a lady out in Nevada. I found so much information in the book.
