I, too am searching for a Frank CASTLE. Mine was born July 11, 1900 in Lawrence Co., KY and died June 1, 1960 in Franklin Co., Columbus, Ohio. His parents were David "Dave" CASTLE (12/2/1867-2/4/1927)and Margaret Ida "Maggie" MOORE (12/2/1869-12/2/1908). Frank married Beatrice Avenell RAPP born 2/2/1914 in Ross Co., Ohio and died 2/20/1983 in Franklin Co., Columbus, Ohio. Together they had 9 children: Betty Ann, Margaret Irene, Stella Flo, Mary Ellen, Marion Lee (died at 3 months of age), Sonja Jean, Robert Eugene, Karen Kay and Donald Lee (died at 3 days of age). If any of this sounds familiar, I would really love to willingly exchange information. This has been a concrete wall for me for YEARS and I'd really like to see something re: this particular Frank CASTLE. My husband was 6 months old when his grandfather died and he's really like to know something about his ancestry. Thanks in advance! In answer To Karen from Columbus, Ohio, in regards to David C. Castle and Margaret Moore. David C. Castle was the son of Benjamin Castle and Amanda [Mandy] Foshu. Benjamin is from the line of Jacob Castle and Sowegee, Shawnee Indian. That is the only Indian connection that I can find, although there may be some on the Moore side. Karen can contact me at _dlmeenach@aol.com_ (mailto:dlmeenach@aol.com) for more info on this family. Don M. This list is adoptable. My query is this: Does anyone have anything about a David CASTLE born 12/02/1867 in Lawrence Co., KY? He married Margaret Ida "Maggie" MOORE born 12/02/1869 in Lawrence Co., KY, too. They married 11/26/1885 in Lawrence Co., KY as well. "Maggie's" father was David MOORE, JR. (1824 - 1910) aand her mother was Lucinda BALL (1827 - 1897) both of Lawrence Co., KY. My husband says that his family often spoke of their Indian ancestry, but he doesn't remember which nation. He also states there was a book with a photo of one of his descendents which was supposedly an Indian Chief when he was about 10 years old. He doesn't remember a name or anything that could possibly be a clue. He also told me his grandmother told him of Germany beginnings. I have researching this family for YEARS without much past what I already know from David & Maggie forward to date. Tom (as he was known) moved to Indiana, where he married Emmaline Anglemeyer (1845-1922) in 1872. It was the second of her 3 marriages. I have no record of any previous marriages for Tom, but it's possible that he was married previously, given that he was 44 when he married Emmaline. Tom and Emmaline had 8 children together, including my great-grandmother Haddie Aletha Castle (1872-1955), who married my great-grandfather Bruce McHenry (1869-1938).
