I'm hoping to find out about the old school building - when it was built, when it was demolished, etc. The other day Google maps showed "Historic Hart School" in overlay lettering in what appears to now be an orchard. It was shown as having been on the east side of N. Hart Rd between Blue Gum and Shackelford. But I think that Google has been working on updating their maps and today I do not see it! The USGS GNIS site mentions it as "Hart School Historical", citing the map "Salida/1915". So that's about all I could find.
