B. 9 Apr 1846 Lancaster Co PA to Jacob & Sarah Arment D. 14 Nov 1940 San Joaquin Co CA Civil War Veteran - Served with the 20th PA Inf Calvary & 1st PA Provisional Calvary Married Ida A Brown on 9 Feb 1867 in Anamosa, Jones Co., IA. They had three children: Druzilla M., Bertrand E., & Ozeretta. They divorced in the early 1890's, as 1900 in Modesto, Ida's last name is Zabel and is living with Ozeretta (Dottie). He married secondly to Ella E. Van Cleff on 30 Sep 1893 in Redwood City, San Mateo Co., CA. They had one child: Norma E. He's buried in Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, Santa Clara Co CA.
