Unfortunately we had a great loss when a storage unit around 1990 for one of the family members connected to this family was left unpaid and the belongings disposed of. The great loss for us is that it contained the Black surname family bible,with dates from the 1790s! Do you have any suggestions on where I might search in hopes the bible was not thrown in the trash. Thankfully back in the early 80's I had written to the family and they transcribed the dates in a letter. I was not wise enough at the time to get an actual photo copy.
