It was in 1914. There were no children involved. She was in her 30ties. In the east, she was a seamstress and a modist. She settled in Modesto, and lived there until her death in 1961. And she seemed to have lived alone. There does not seem to be another man involved. And nothing in the news about her.. I scanned through the Modesto Bee. Somehow she seemed to be quite at ease financially, had acquired properties. My question - Why Modesto ? I dont know anything about the history of that part of the world.
