Background: Native of Ohio, lived in Modesto 35 years. Custodian for Modesto City Schools for 35 years. Member of Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Two children, JoAnne McGuire and Janette DeGrendele, both of Modesto. One brother. Mothers maiden name: Leist The Lakewood Memorial Park is very large and well taken care of.
