Born in San Bernardino, she had been a resident of Modesto since 1928. She was a member of the Stanislaus Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Auxiliary of the Stanislaus County Medical Society. Survivors in addition to her widower, include a son, Peter Hartman of Oakland; a daughter, Antoinette Traphagen of Stockton; a sister, Vera McMahon of Oakland and five grandchildren.
