from www.modbee.com Lucy Coggins (Published: Thursday, March 30, 2000) Sept. 12, 1912 -- March 27, 2000 Lucy Coggins, 87, of Empire died Monday at her home. Mrs. Coggins was a native of Oklahoma. She lived in Empire 25 years and in Stanislaus County a total of 78 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her granddaughter and caregiver, Linda Barrentine Ott of Rescue; and two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service at graveside will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Private visitation.
