Born August 11, 1912, Mr. Bruhn died on March 24, 1984 in Modesto. His wife, Marie, preceded him in death in June 1982. Survivors include one daughter, Gayle Canepa of Modesto, a sister, Eulalia Newmaker of Susanville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Vernon Bruhn, Sr., Elmer Bruhn and Clyde Bruhn are his uncles, and Beryl Harrington of Winters is his aunt. Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto was in charge of arrangements.
