Hi, I am the one who requested the obit and DCT for Fred Lowell Van Winkle. He was my uncle by marriage - his first wife, Adelaide Holloway died when I was just a baby in 1953 and I really don't know much about the family. The obit confirmed a few names that my family provided. Sorry, I can't be of much help aside from photos, a photo of his headstone, marriage license between he and my aunt, oh and what the great volunteers provided for me. DCT lists his father as George Van Winkle - no birth location and mother as Lorena Baldwin - no birth location. Uncle Fred was born in Colorado.
