CHEATHAM Henry Spillman Cheatham, a retired drayman, died yesterday at the age of 79, following a long illness. A native of Kentucky, he had lived in Modesto for 14 years. His address was 410 Kerr Avenue. Cheatham leaves his widow, Maude E. Cheatham of Modesto; two sons, Floyd D. Cheatham of San Diego and Cullon I. Cheatham of Westley; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM in the Franklin-Sovern & Downs Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald G. Watson of the Bethel Church officiating. Committal will follow in the Modesto Cemetery. Transcribed by Judy Ewbank
