Mrs. Beard was a native of Henrietta, Okla. She had lived in California 30 years. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Waterford. Survivors include her widower: James of Waterford; a daughter, Anna Lee Hunt, and a son, Dale Beard, both of Waterford; her parents, Kenneth and Martha Morgan of Waterford; two brothers, Tommie Morgan of Waterford and Johnnie Morgan of Hickman, and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Southern Baptist Church in Waterford by the Rev. Maurice Marrow. Burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Park.
