HARDER ESCALON, San Joaquin Co. - Last rites will be conducted at 2 pm tomorrow in the Deegan Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Clara Adeline Harder, 88, who died Saturday in Stockton after a long illness. Mrs. Harder had lived in Escalon all her life until moving to Stockton two years ago following the death of her son, Cecil F. Harder. She was a charter member of the Gustafson Thompson American Legion Auxiliary which will have charge of the services. She leaves a son, R. J. (Bob) Harder of Stockton, a daughter Adeline Strickland of Placerville, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. The Rev. Quincy Hamilton of the Escalon Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Burwood Cemetery. Transcribed by Judy Ewbank
