TATE (Turlock) A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel in Modesto for Guthrie Lee Tate, 87, who died Monday in Turlock. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson will follow the funeral. A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Tate had lived in Turlock 39 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Golden State Mobile Home League and the Pentecostal Church. She is survived by two sons, Jack Massey of Turlock and Lloyd Vest of Kansas; three daughters, Alma Fuller and Cleo Vest, both of Oklahoma, and Maxine Talley of Modesto; three brothers, Joe Guinn of Delhi, James Guinn of Groveland and Harold Guinn of Hardin Flat; two sisters, Skip Galusha of Delhi and Virginia Jayne of Cloverdale; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
