List, I have just completed transcribing the 1870 Stanislaus Co Census. Is there anyone on this list that would be interested in taking on the task of proof reading my transcription? Let me know and I will get you set up to do that. Please, I would very much like to have someone who would be dedicated to finishing the project once they accept the responsibility. It is a fairly easy census to read, and contains about 176 transcribed pages with about 6800+ individuals. You will need to provide your own materials for a source reference, either in the form of a CD or microfilm of the original archive. Heritage Quest has this CD for around $15.00.
