He was married 1 to Mary Hubbard in Putnam Co.Ohio. She died in Yolo Co. CA and is buried in Mary's Cemetery along with one of their girls, Clara. His younger sister, Nancy, m William Hubbard and are my gr grandparents. Samuel McBride died in 1875 and is buried in the same cemetery in Yolo Co. along with John's sister Mary. Samuel and Abigail were married in Richland Co. Ohio and they are in the 1850 and 1860 census in Ohio - I believe Hancock Co. Abigail and John are buried at Burwell(?)Cem. in Escolan, CA. Abigail died in 1900. She was Samuel's 3rd wife. I have her linage back to the 1400's (mother's a LaRue) and Samuel's back at least to the middle 1700's.
