SPIER June 28, 1917 - Feb. 14, 1993 Jewel D. Spier, 75, of Oakdale died Sunday at Oak Valley Care Center. Mrs. Spier was a native of Ninnekah, Okla., and lived in Oakdale 45 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Oakdale. She is survived by her husband, John B. Spier of Oakdale; children, John R. Spier of Turlock, Danny Spier of Oakdale and Billie Smith of Milpitas; sisters, Dora Parks of Los Banos and Pearl Havron of Marlow, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral is set at 1 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
