BELL - A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Memorial Chapel for Hattie Ethel Bell, 85, who died Sunday at a Lodi hospital after a long illness. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Bell, a native of Oklahoma, had lived in Modesto since 1950 and had been employed as a cannery worker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She is survived by two sons, Roy of Hughson and George of Modesto; a daughter, Betty Harris of Stockton; three sisters, Esther Hensley of Hickman and Monima Taylor and Bell Bryant, both of Modesto; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grand-children and one great-great grandchild.
