Feb. 5, 1969, p D7 CARL A. DOLSMAN A brakeman for the Southern Pacific Co., Carl Arnold Dolsman, 58, of Modesto died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Sisseton, S.D., and moved to California 16 years ago. He had lived in Modesto seven years. Survivors are his widow, Helen Rose Dolsman; eight sons, Clinton Dolsman and Curtis Dolsman, both of Butte, Mont., Melvin Dolsman of Great Falls, Mont., Kenny Dolsman, Wayne Dolsman, Gary Dolsman and Daryl Dolsman, all of Ceres, and Harold Dolsman of Modesto; three daughters, Sharon Douglas of Olympia, Wash., Kay Horton of Ceres and Pamela Dolsman of Modesto; two brothers, Walter Dolsman of Lewiston, Mont., and Percy Dolsman of Spokane, Wash.; a sister, Florence Short of Hood River, Ore.; and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Ceres Cemetery. Transcribed by Judy Ewbank
