Caudle died peacefully in his home on Oct. 23, 2001, after a long illness. Born May 24, 1927, in Modesto, he was 74. He was a public accountant and successful businessman in Sacramento. He owned the Yolo Club in West Sacramento from 1974 to 1987. He was also a member in good standing of the Washington Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons of California. He was a longtime resident of El Macero, where, as an avid golfer, the only thing he enjoyed more than spending time on the links was being with his family and friends. He was a man of dignity, honor, strength and love. He will be sorely missed by those whose lives he graced. He is survived by his wife Arlene, son David and daughter-in-law Kathy of Columbus, Ohio, son Warren and daughter-in-law Cami of Hercules, daughter Lenore of Sacramento, and sisters Elaine Haskin and Martha Schlander of Modesto. He will be missed by many more friends and family. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at El Macero Country Club.
