He died today at Turlock Convalescent Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Alice Irelan of Hilmar. Turlock Journal, Page A12 Saturday, 18 Jan 1997 Graveside services for Robert Sherman Irelan, 76, of Stevinson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Whitehurst Norton Chapel. Mr. Irelan was born in Alexandria, Ind. He died Tuesday at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was a plumber for Thorsen's Plumbing for 30 years and was a member of the Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church in Turlock. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Irelan of Stevinson; two sons Bobby Irelan of Turlock and Charles Irelan of San Luis Obispo; one brother, Joe Irelan of Turlock; two sisters, Frances Borgman of Stevinson and Charlotte Conyers of Carson City, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
