She died yesterday at a local hospital following an extended illness. Survivors include her husband, Patrick, of Turlock. Turlock Daily Journal, Page A14 Tuesday, 26 Oct 1976 A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. for Mary Tobin, 57, at the Allen Mortuary. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment at Turlock Memorial Park. Mrs. Tobin died Sunday at a local hospital following an extended illness. A native of Rhode Island, she came to Turlock in 1948. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the YLI. Survivors include her husband, Patrick of Turlock; a son, John of Denair; four daughters, Mary Smith of Turlock, Kathrine Daubenberger of Denair, Dorothy Sward and Silvia Tobin both of Turlock; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Silvia of Rhode Island; a brother, Edwin Silvia of Rhode Island; three sisters, Ann Jesek and Irene Carson, both of Texas; and Helen Booth of Rhode Island; and six grandchildren.
