She was 96. Born in Illinois, she had been a member of the Progressive Womens Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the First Christian Church, the Garden Club and the Womens Improvement Club, all in Modesto. Survivors include a son, C.C. Osborne of Sacramento; a daughter, Thelma O. Pugh of Modesto; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
