Damas Date: December 29, 2001 Oct. 25, 1917 -- Dec. 26, 2001 Mary C. Damas, 84, of Turlock died Wednesday at Oak Valley Hospital, Oakdale. Mrs. Damas was a native of Hughson. She lived in Turlock 60 years. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy for 39 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of SCS. LUSO-American Club, UPEC, UPPEC, Saint Anthony's FO Eagles of Modesto, Turlock Pentecost, Maria Madelina, and Native Daughters of Golden West, Turlock 248. She is survived by her daughters, Edwina M. Damas of Turlock and Phyllis Rocha of Escalon; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at Allen Mortuary. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
