Azevedo Funeral services are pending aat the Allen Mortuary for Arthur A. Azevedo, 55, who died this morning in a local hospital following a lingering illness. A native of Buhach, Calif., he moved to Patterson in 1915 and had lived in the Turlock area since 1936. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Ermaline Azevedo, Turlock; a son, Daniel Azevedo, Turlock; one daughter, Barbara Wilson, Arkansas; a sister, Mabel Pires, Patterson; three brothers, Anthony and Manuel Azevedo, Jr., both of Patterson and John Azevedo, Santa Cruz; his father, Manuel Azevedo, Sr., Patterson and five grandchildren. Azevedo, 55, will be said Friday at 8:30 p.m. in the Allen Mortuary with requiem mass to be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Manuel Alvernaz officiating. Interment will be in Turlock Memorial Park. Mr. Azevedo died Wednesday in a local hospital following an extended illness.
