Turner, 91, long-time resident of Turlock , died Wednesday evening at her home following a short illness. Mrs. Turner was senior charter member of the Mountain View School house. She was present just last Sunday when ground was broken for the new church building. A native of Canada , Mrs. Turner lived there until 1902 when she moved to San Dimas . She came to Turlock in 1905 and had resided here since that time. Besides being a member of the Mountain View Union Church, she also was a member of the First Methodist Church . Mrs. Turner is survived by two sons, Horace C. and Fletcher, both of Turlock ; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle McCartor of Likely, Calif. , and Mrs. Daisy Laughlin of Waterford, and one sister, Mrs. Annie Ballard of Manitoba, Canada. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren Funeral services are pending at the Norton Mortuary. Rev. C. H. Lindgren officiated.
