He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Carpenter, three sons, Dennis, Mark and Larry, daughter Michelle Carpenter, two step-sons, Robert and Michael Starr, grandson Brent Carpenter, two sisters and one brother. Services were in Oakdale Cemetery Chapel, Dr. Walter H. Maes officiating. Interment followed. Du Bois Mortuary directors.
