Nov. 8, 1961 Turlock, California Area Resident Since 1911 Succumbs Mabelle Turner, 66, died yesterday afternoon in a local hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Turmer, who was born in Nebraska, came to the Turlock area in 1911 and had lived here since that time. She was a charter member of the Mitchell Community Church. Survivors include her widower, Fletcher Turner of Turlock; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline McMahan of Turlock; a brother, Everett Olson, Turlock; five sisters, Laura Sukup and Nellie Wagner, both of Nebraska; Ruth Ridneour, Carmel; Goldie Turner and Opal Erickson, both of Turlock and a granddaughter, Lynn McMahan. Services will be held Friday at 11a.m. at the Norton Mortuary with the Rev. Roger Smith, pastor of the Mitchell Community Church.
