Obituaries Ira Lee Hurst Services for Ira Lee Hurst were conducted at the Atwater Chapel of Ivers and Alcorn. Mr. Hurst died Feb. 15 in a Turlock hospital following a short illness. He was buried in the Winton District Cemetery Feb. 18. Vernon Boyd of the Livingston Church of Christ was in charge of the 2 p.m. services which preceded burial. Mr. Hurst was born Sept. 23, 1898 in Butterfield, Missouri and had lived in the Livingston area for more than 10 years. His occupation had been installing boilers. He is survived by his wife, Jewel of Livingston; sons, Kenneth of Bakersfield, Ray of Bromide, Oklahoma; a sister, Clara Brisco of Livingston; and brother Clarence of Bromide and Oscar of Cupertino; three step daughters, Anna Lou Gregory of Fresno, Lois Jantz of Livingston and LeLa Fannon of Ceres, and 16 grandchildren.
