Thursday, april 9, 1896 HYMENEAL WILSON-FOREMAN An interesting and happy event occured at the residence of Mr. J.J. Foreman, North Dorchester, when his only daughter, Lizzie was united in marriage to Mr. Arthur Wilson, who for some years has been a resident of this town...The nuptial knot was tied by Rev.Dr.Williamson,pastor of Charles St.Methodist church,Ingersoll,in the presence of alarge number of relations and friends of the contracting parties. FORMAN The death of Phoebe Elizabeth Vannatter, widow of John J. Forman, occurred at a late hour on Tuesday evening, May 2nd, following a long period of ill health. Deceased had been confined to her bed for the past seven weeks, but had been in failing health for some time prior to that she was in her 79th year. Mrs. Forman was born in Malahide township, Elgin County. She had lived for a considerable term in North Dorchester township prior to coming to Ingersoll 30 years ago. She had resided here continuously since that time and had made herself many friends in Ingersoll and district. She was a member of Trinity United Church, and, while health permitted, a regular attendant there. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, as follows: William A., Ingersoll; Stephen E., Alberta; Mrs. A. Wilson, Modesto, California; three sisters and two brothers, as follows also survive: Sarah Ensign, Strathroy, Mrs. Julia Gilbert, Detroit; Mrs. G. W. Temple, Modesto, California; John Vannatter, St. Marys, and George Vannatter, Detroit. The funeral! was held from her late residence, 73 Alma Street, on Friday afternoon, to the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Service conducted at the house at 2:30 o’clock, by Rev. Dr. J. George Miller, pastor of Trinity United Church, was largely attended, while numerous floral tributes were indicative of the esteem in which the deceased was held. The pallbearers were Messrs.
