WATSON SUCCUMBS HERE James Russell Watson, a resident of this area for more than 40 years, died yesterday after a brief illness. A native of Fort Scott, Kans., he was 54 years old. Watson attended Oakdale schools. He was a member of many lodges, including Stanislaus Lodge No. 206, FAM, the Stockton Scottish Rite, Aahmes Temple of Oakland, the Modesto Shrine Club and the Masonic Luncheon Club. He leaves a brother and two sisters, Robert Y. Watson and Mrs. Donald Correll, both of Modesto, and Mrs. Raymond Webb of Los Angeles, and a nephew, Jannard Webb of Los Angeles. Services will be held at 10 AM Monday in the Salas Brothers-Moore Chapel. Stanislaus Lodge No. 206 will officiate. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
